When performance art becomes NFTs! Conceptual artist Shl0ms’s new project titled “$Car”, recently blew up a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan; they then picked up the wreckage and 999 NFTs were made. Each NFT features a close-up and detailed 4K footage of the fragments from the detonated Lambo. 888 of the NFTs will be sold at auction with a starting bid of 0.01ETH. The remainder 111 NFTs will be reserved for the team and investors. The entire detonation took two weeks to prepare and hopes to bring attention to the greed within the cryptocurrency market; Shl0ms believes that the crypto world is so much more than just fast cash as it can be used for much more positive benefits to society.
The auction was originally scheduled to take place on February 25. However, due to recent global situations, the auction has been postponed until further notice.
