Tech giant HTC recently announced the establishment of its virtual world “VIVERSE” at the 2022 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Cher Wang, chairwoman the virtual reality hardware maker, says that VIVERSE merges humanity with technology to unleash the imagination and will solve the limitations of time and space. From the time you wake up until the time you go to bed, VIVERSE will have all-around experiences to fit your liking. Wang also mentions that VIVERSE will be a safe and secure environment for both children and adults.
VIVERSE aims to be a metaverse community where users can create characters to explore the world beyond our physical space, and can also participate in a variety of fascinating online and in-person events, suggesting virtual tourism, exhibitions, sporting events and festivals. In addition, a number of new products have also been unveiled such as the Vive Browser, Vive Connect, and Vive Guardian for Vive Flow. VIVERSE will also feature a NFT showroom but no further detail were released as to what kind of showroom it will be.
