“Hey Jude” NFT sold for 77000 USD

Feb 12, 2022

Original handwritten notes for the popular Beatles’ song “Hey Jude” has been turned into a NFT and sold for nearly 77,000 USD! Originally titled “Hey Jules,” named after John Lennon’s son Julian, this song was written by Paul McCartney to comfort him during John and Cynthia’s divorce. The NFT version of the notes is an animated video featuring audio commentary by Julian himself, and was auctioned off by “Julien’s Auctions” along with 5 other exclusive NFTs from Julian’s private collection.

More and more famous works of art, songs, and even brand products  are being reproduced in the form of NFTs, and most of them go for stellar prices. These NFTs hold not only commemorative value, but are generally also meaningful for collectors.
