Digital collectibles marketplace VeVe has teamed up with PIXAR and launched the “PIXAR PALS” NFT collection this week. 54,995 pieces of Disney’s Pixar Pals NFTs were released, including over 10K NFTs featuring Woody, Lightning McQueen, and Mike Wazowski. Each NFT was sold for 60 Gems (which are VeVe’s in-app tokens) equivalent to around 60 USD.
The collection was sold out within 24 hours of its launch. It is estimated that the NFT collection brought in 3.3 million USD. The NFTs are currently selling on secondary market for around 350 USD.
VeVe is a marketplace for licensed digital collectibles. The app was the first platform to offer NFTs from brands such as Marvel, DC, Disney, Star Wars, Givenchy, Coca-Cola and Pixar.
