Robo Dog finds a forever home!!
KIA’s first NFT series has officially dropped on the Tezos blockchain！ The Robo Dog NFT collection, is a collaboration with NFT platform SWEET and The Petfinder Foundation and will be made available for public minting on 2/18 at 7PM EST.
90% of all the proceeds from the primary sales will go to the foundation and 10% royalties from each NFT transaction on the secondary market will also benefit the animals as well.
Vice President of KIA America Russell Wager says that many [people] are aware of the increase in pet adoptions as a result of the pandemic, although tens of thousands of animals have found their forever homes, pet surrenders to shelters are increasing as people return to work and there are many pets whose stories deserve to end as happily as Robo Dog’s did in [their] Super Bowl commercial.
Robo Dog NFTs will have generative traits such as different breeds, age, size, collars, genders, and colors. Because older dogs and larger dogs in the real world are a bit less desired, they have made Robo Dog NFTs with traits such as older or larger being more “rare” and sought after.
