With the rapid development of blockchain technology, more and more courses regarding metaverse and blockchain are emerging. To ensure that students and future elites can keep up with the technology, Tokyo University has launched metaverse courses run by its engineering department.
Starting from the second half of this year, the University of Tokyo will have a virtual learning space and various metaverse courses that students can choose from. Official certificates will also be given when courses are completed. The University of Tokyo is also encouraging female students to join the courses, as blockchain industries are proportionately engaged in by men.
