High fashion gone virtual! The first ever Metaverse Fashion Week is happening in Decentraland between March 24th to March 27th. Tommy Hilfiger will also be participating and will be collaborating with Boson Portal (a virtual lifestyle and cultural playground located in Decentraland) to sell Tommy Hilfiger NFTs. Holders of these Hilfiger NFTs can redeem limited-edition physical products from Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring Collection. Hilfiger himself says that the move represents the “brand’s focus on digital innovation and exploring new consumer channels.”
With 60+ participating brands, artists, and designers, #MVFW22 is a milestone event in the global fashion industry. A combination of legacy luxury fashion and digital-native brands will showcase their highly anticipated wearable collections, digital spaces, and breakthrough activations during the eventful week. Dolce & Gabbana, Frank Muller, Selfridges, Phillip Plein, Estée Lauder, etc. will all be participating.
