Uber recently announced that it will be accepting cryptocurrency as payment! Uber’s recent revenue rose by 83% to $5.78 billion compared to last year. In response to the rising demand of rides and cryptocurrency markets, Dara Khosrowshahi, a representative from Uber, said that Uber has partnered with U.S bitcoin payment service provider BitPay to allow users to pay in Bitcoin when orders are made (currently, BitPay supports payments in Bitcoin, ETH, DOGE, and SHIB).
Uber Eats also announced on July 2nd that it will follow the footstep of accepting Bitcoin as one of the payments.
