Vitalik Buterin is a Russian-Canadian programmer who is best known for being the co-founder of Ethereum. He started his career at Bitcoin Weekly. At that time they offered him 5 Bitcoins per article when it was worth $3.50 USD. Five Bitcoins now are worth over $200,000 USD. The company was shut down because of low revenues; after that Buterin started his own site, Bitcoin Magazine, which he worked at as a writer. In 2013, Buterin dropped out of college again to chase his dreams of starting the Ethereum blockchain.
